Application Development

This is one of our most valuable clients with whom we have been working for a few years now. They are a premier logistics company operating predominantly in the medical industry that integrates their mobile application and backend software to plan and track the delivery updates. They approached us to rebuild their mobile application to improve their operations.

Business Need

Client had a legacy application built on native iOS and approached us to rebuild the app. The previous build had no structure and limited scalability. We discussed their operational requirements and what improvements they wanted to implement as well as the features they would ideally want to integrate in future.

Solution

Some of the key issues they faced previously were the rigidity of the previous build and the inability to make enhancements to it, the limited control they had over the backend operations and the cost of maintaining the application. Our focus was to build the new application with proper structure and document the code and processes, so the client has visibility. We started with rebuilding their mobile application into a hybrid application.
We made the application’s cross platform compatibility much better and improved the UI/UX of the application considerably. We further improved their backend application to make the admin access better and the user experience smoother. We made the improvements very economical for our client while keeping the quality improving.

Follow-up

HeveaHill Technologies have been working with them for a few years now and we are currently managing all their technological needs and updates. We deployed updates and maintenance of both their hybrid application and their backend software.
