This client is an Ohio based in-home health and hospice care business who are exceptional in the level of their service. They are a very valuable customer for whom we developed and maintain tracking systems that enables their employees to be on top of their trainings.
Business Need
They need to train their employees in several healthcare related courses for their licensing and certification to be employed in the industry. Their previous training tools had limited trackability on the progress of their training as well as the modules that needed to be retrained had to be checked manually. We were brought in to rebuild their tracking system to be more trackable and sustainable.
Solutions
We built them a tracking system for their training to ensure that all employees undergo the necessary training within the stipulated time. On top of that, we also built their system with additional features with the most notable one being the notification system that alerts an employee before their licence expires or requires retraining. This enables them to proactively work on their trainings rather than manually check the dates and doing the training after their qualifications expire.
Follow-up
Since the original collaboration, we had worked with them to further streamline and improve their technologies to be lean and robust. A key feature we added to the initial build was integrating the data on a new employee automatically from their employee database to the training database. We also added several features to keep the tracking system user friendly and updated.
